Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated IGCSE Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in our IGCSE program, ensuring they are well-prepared for their examinations and future academic endeavors. The teacher will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment, fostering a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the IGCSE curriculum and school policies.

Student Assessment: Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Exam Preparation: Thoroughly prepare students for their IGCSE examinations, including teaching exam techniques, conducting mock exams, and providing targeted revision sessions.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment that is conducive to learning and promotes respect among students.

Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral support to students, addressing their academic and personal needs, and working with parents/guardians and the school's support staff as needed.

Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with developments in the IGCSE curriculum and best teaching practices through continuous professional development.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum improvements, share resources, and participate in departmental meetings and school-wide events.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians through regular reports, parent-teacher meetings, and other channels.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area.

A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).

Proven experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum.

Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational technology.

The ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

A commitment to student-centered learning and a holistic approach to education.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience with a variety of teaching methodologies.

A track record of high student achievement in IGCSE examinations.

Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.

This would definitely be referred as the evolution from Traditional Economy to Digital Economy. Actually, the Revolutions are not very new to the world we live in. Instead, they came up repeatedly in the history. Now this time is the turn for Industry 4.0. Whenever the society faces with such Revolutions, the behaviours and procedures of everyday life have been changed in people.
