Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality applications that power Yahoo’s web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features end-to-end.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose new approaches to improve development workflows.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

2–5 years of software development experience.

Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).

Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary Range

$45000 - $70000
